Navigating the amount of information and 'unknowns' of birth choices can feel overwhelming. Whether you envision a planned c-section in the hospital or an unmedicated home birth, I will help you and your partner navigate making informed decisions to ensure you have an EMPOWERED birth experience. Being informed about birth and your rights leads to less stress and anxiety in labor and delivery and decreases the risk of birth trauma. Through our collaboration, you'll gain the confidence to ask the right questions of your healthcare providers, choose the best setting for birth, and sift through the overwhelming amount of research and evidence available. *At the end, you will be provided with a birth planning template to work through with your support system AND you will be prepared to advocate for yourself and your baby. I strongly believe there is no single "best" way to give birth. Instead, we'll embark on a journey of self-reflection, identify reliable resources, and critically examine the evidence for various birth choices to ensure that you go into your birth feeling empowered.
